The Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers took on the Olivarez Sea Lions on August 26, 2024, Monday , at the Trinity University of Asia Gym for the Manila Best Basketball Tournament. The former defeated the latter , closing the game with a score of 64 – 51 . Joshua Guiab of the JRU Heavy Bombers was once again the Smart Player of the Game, with a score of 15 points, 5 rebounds , 2 assists and 1 steal.
