The JRU Heavy and the UP Fighting Maroons faced off on August 23, 2024 , Friday , at the Trinity University of Asia Gym during the Manila Best Basketball Tournament. The former prevailed against the latter with a score of 84-54. Joshua Guiab of the JRU Heavy Bombers emerged as the Smart Best Player of the Game, with 11 points and 1 rebound.
