The CEU Scorpions faced off with the UP Fighting Maroons on August 25, 2024, Sunday , at the Trinity University of Asia Gym for the Manila Best Basketball Tournament. The Scorpions emerged victorious against the Maroons in a heart-wrenching match that closed at 83-82 . Ken Sabsalon brought it home for the CEU Scorpions with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 1 block, rightfully claiming Smart Player of the Game.
